This week’s note · Wk 01

The strongest thing you can say is already in your reviews.

Nine of your last twelve reviews name the same strength, in your customers’ own words. Your homepage answers with “quality service and fair prices”, the same line your three closest competitors lead with, so the one advantage buyers already believe is the thing a stranger never reads. Nothing this week needs a rebuild or a budget. It needs the words you already own, put where people actually arrive.

Most owners in your position would put the money into ads first. Your problem sits earlier than that: 23 of your last 40 visitors arrived one level deeper than your homepage, on a page that never says who you are or what to do next, so paid traffic lands in the same place and costs more to send there. We weighed twelve moves and kept five. The people who already bought from you are the shortest path to the next ones, and 161 of them are past the point they would usually need you again.
